Not sure what to say?

A great foster mother,miss you!

She cared for us when we visited, and we made the very most of it, but she cared for many many more than us. I remember pouring over the names in her foster book that she kept in her kitchen, and being awestruck by the number of kids she had, and how many cousins I had. I was very young, and ignorant of foster care

Wonderful memories of growing up in Scotia and visiting Uncle Mac & Aunt Jean in McKinleyville in the 50's & 60's. Always felt a warm welcome with her loving smile.

Aunt Jean was my fathers favorite sister and it was my honor to call her my Aunt. I spent many a happy summer staying with Aunt Jean and Uncle Mac and being spoiled like crazy. I have so many wonderful memories to carry me through my life time.

We love and miss you Grandma Special thanks to Aunt Beth for her tender care for this woman who cared for so many! A tradition of grace.

My sincere condolences for your loss.
Shalom,
Mary Paradise

To all of Jean's family:
I was sad to hear of Jean's passing. I remember how gracious she was in opening her home to me and the many hours spent there with all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. She was such a nice person and so kind to me. I will miss her.

The best Auntie Jean in the world, an angel in disguise. The most loved person I've ever known. The world is a sadder place. She lives on in our hearts.
