Jean Wynkoop Stevenson

I met Jean when my first husband and I were backpacking on the Pacific Crest Trail from the Canadian border. One of my shoes was falling apart. Jean after meeting us invited us to dinner and for hot showers and let us wash clothes. It was heavenly. I'm not sure my own mother would have taken me in after 52 days on the trail. I had my art supplies and camera along and had been painting all along.
