Jean and Scott were wonderful people, taken too soon from us. Jean was the smiling face at the Anchorage Audubon sales table, Scott was the engineer and builder of many high-tech nest boxes. Both were avid birders and fun companions on many field trips to places near and far. I'll always remember them and think of them with the pacific loons on Connors Bog, and the swans on Tern Lake. Godspeed Jean and Scott . . .

Jean served as a judge for the Map and Plat Contest as part of the Alaska Surveying and Mapping Conference. She was a great cartographer. We will miss her!
