All of my memories about Jean are so wonderful! I remember going to her home to drop off some accessories for her living room and she invited me to stay for lunch. She said a good friend was in the kitchen, creating something special to eat and she was sure there would be plenty for one more. The friend was Milton Berle! I cherish all the unique encounters I had with Jean and her many friends and children; what a good past I have because of them.

I first met Sandy Weiss who introduced me to her mother Jean in the 1970's when I worked as an interior designer for Rubin's Fine Furniture in Philadelphia, PA. Jean was the most gracious and down to earth person I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I still can remember her telling me how she would sit in her 'brand new' living room in the morning, eating her bowl of cereal, totally mesmerized by the changes the new furnishing had made in her life... We would go shopping for basic...
