Not sure what to say?

Sorry I am so late. I was one of her students and decided to look her up. I just found out. I am so sorry to her family. She was such a beautiful and educated woman. She had a profound effect on my life and I deeply saddened. I had no idea she was sick. She taught me how to write and when I finish my book, I will dedicate it to her. She will not be forgotten. She is loved by me for sure. I hope someone sees this and knows she passed on knowledge with grace and diligence. What a great woman....

Jeanie was my friend since childhood since our mothers were friends we played tennis together went to camp together and was a good friend through our lives I got to see her one last time and she fix lunch at her apartment when I was visiting from CA

I had Jean as my journalism teacher at McAuley high school and always valued her opinion and her knowledge. When I went to work for Xavier University she started teaching there and both my son and daughter had her for English class. She was quite a treasure!

I was one of Ms. Timberlake's students in late 2003, my first semester of college. She may never have known it, but she helped rejuvenate a passion for creativity in me, which had been stifled by high school and my environment. Under her supervision I regained an appreciation for literature and creative writing, which may have forever been lost to me. Thank you Ms. Timberlake, on my behalf, and all of the students whose minds you touched.

Jack Bob and Allen , so sorry to hear of Jean,s passing. Patty holweger let me know she was ill and I was able to touch base with her in the last few months. I told her how much your house meant to all of the kids that frequented it. What a unique plce to grow up. I probably wouldn,t have passed freshman english ,if not for your mom. Basketball behind the house, football in the side yard, photo development in the basement, pinball in the middle room and I remember that the front room was 'off...

I taught with Jean both at UC and XU for many years. She was a lovely, free-spirited woman--very outspoken and great-hearted. I recall that many students loved her. She was a dedicated teacher and interesting woman. I am sorry to learn of her passing.

Many fond memories of Jean - especially all the times spent at
the Timberlake home and the summers with her and the old gang at Chautauqua. Lowell and I send our deepest sympathy to Jack, Bob and Allen.

Jean was in some of my Ph.D classes at UC so I have not seen her since the late 80's. My condolences to Jack, Bob, and Alan. growing up in Franklin Jean was always referred to as a genius. I enjoyed her dry sense of humor.
