Jean TULLY

In her 84th year, on April 25, 2013, Jean left her home with a wonderful smile for her family. Four hours later she died of a cardiac arrest. Her six year fight with cancer was highlighted with continuous involvement with family and friends from Ontario to BC., and with choir, committee work, study groups, and other involvement at Brechin United Church in Nanaimo.
The regrowth of curly hair, and the jaunty hats, after the chemo, were fun for her and all who marvelled in her strength, attitude and good humour.

An English teacher and educator by profession, she enjoyed editing an occasional newsletter featuring current faith topics and profiles of congregants at Brechin.
