I graduated from Hope Valley High School in 1951, and Jean Waddell was one of my favorite teachers. She was a very positive influence in my life, and the things she taught me have served me well. Many students have benefited from her teaching and influence.

Our prayers and sympathy go out to John and Vicki and the rest of the family. I taught with Jean at Carroll Jr. High with her from 1966 until she retired. She was a fantastic teacher and was a great leader at Carroll. Her students enjoyed her classes very much. When they had Jean they were prepared for high school. She will be missed by all.
