Mrs. Washington was my tennis coach in my junior and senior years at the University of Central Oklahoma (Central State College 1968-1970) In my senior year, as the # 1 player for CSC, she drove me to the first ever Women's Collegiate Tennis Championships sponsored by the USTA. I have so many memories from our great trip to that first ever championship tournament. She was a pioneer for the UCO women's tennis program. Her dedication to women's tennis paved the way for my success in a career...

Billy, I just saw this and wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to you and all your family. Your mother in past years was a dear friend and I am so sorry I lost contact with her. She was a very special lady and friend and we had many good time together.
