Not sure what to say?

There is no doubt about it... Jean Wenner will be missed. I had the fortunate pleasure of working with Jean as the Council for the Arts was taking shape. Jean was tireless. If I may say, Jean was a "classy lady." She had a great talent. I still contend that when it came to art, her works were wonders. Always vibrant, always enthusiastic, always willing to find a way when the way seemed difficult and challenging.

I will miss you. The community will miss you. Your family and...

Because of Jeans effort and insight the children of Jacksonville have been introduced to and enjoyed ballet for ten years.Ballet for Young Auudiences continues to hold her in very high esteem and we respect her inspired art work. Many sympathetic wishes to Connie,Patti, and all of her family . Harriett Kinter and BYA.

Wow, what a wonderful woman to dedicate so much to the community. One fact was it was an unpaid position for many of those years but she would still outwork anyone I know and loved coming to work because every day was a new day and never the same. To see the children in the school programs faces as they were exposed to the various activities was inspirational and worth it all. Jean will be missed but Connie hasn't left any stones unturned and has continued to live the dreams and put her own...

Going to miss you Jean! You were always there. Now God has you doing some important work! When I see pastels I think of your expertise in them. Thanks for supporting the arts all of these years. We won't forget you.

Mrs. Wenner was an incredible advocate for the Onslow Arts Council! On more than one occasion, she funded a storyteller for our school just based on my phone request. She certainly deserved the accolades she received in her tireless efforts for our community! Then, I had the opportunity of also working with her daughter, Patty, at Sand Ridge! I pray that the wonderful memories ALL her family has will help sustain them through their loss.

My best friend is now resting in peace.
Every sunrise and sunset that I see, I will forever know that she helped to paint it for us. I will always remember her smile. Her loving son, Billy

When I think of aunt Jean I always picture her art, her smile, and her kindness. Rest in peace aunt Jean.
Love Margie
