Jean T. Witmer

I am writing on behalf of my parents, Carolyn and Dieter Wittkowski. They were neighbors of Jean's twice-- both in Bellefonte and at the Oaks in Pleasant Gap! Jean and Rich were wonderful friends of my parents, and they enjoyed many activities together for over 20 years. My parents have great memories of sailing together up in New York state and they even later purchased their sailboat which they sailed often at Bald Eagle State Park. I always enjoyed Jean's company anytime had a chance to serve her. She was always thankful for everything you did for her. Just someone nice to be with.

My condolences to Jean's family in the loss of your mother, grandmother, and sister. I considered Jean to be my friend and was the recipient of her compassion, care, and love in so many ways throughout my life. She never missed acknowledging my birthday or reaching out at Christmas.
