Having moved out of state shortly after Mike and Angel married, I had only met her a few times and hadn't really gotten the opportunity to know her. That all changed one year when I came home to visit my parents for the Christmas holidays. On New Year's Day, Angel, Mike & Jessa all came over for lunch. Little Mojo was still in the hospital then. I am blessed to be able to call this wonderful woman my niece. I have loved her from the moment she was born and my sister brought her home from the hospital. As so many have attested, she has been an incredible blessing to so many people. Things I will remember the most about her are her smile and that laugh (always ready to bust out), her creativity, her huge hugs and warmth, her loyalty to family and friends. As I've fumbled through this last week, I've thought about how lucky I have been to have a friend like Angel... She was my biggest supporter and toughest critic...
