Jeanet Ebels

Always enjoyed going to Ebles to get Auction Bucks which my Grandma (Jenny Bouwer) saved. It was so much fun for this city girl to visit the little town of McBain during the summer. Always came with my parents (Jim and Sadie Bouwer Mejeur) to visit Grandpa and Grandma (Herm and Jenny) Bouwer. I remember that the Ebles lived up the road from them. Jeanet was a cousin to my mom. I am very sorry for your loss!

Our sympathy to your family. My brother in law Jim Heuker lived in her hall at Raybrook and was a friend of hers, reading her the mail etc. Always remarked what a nice lady she was. I was born and raised in Vogel Center, shopped the store as a child and my grandparents Tom and Jenny Winkel lived there. She was a Zuiderveen so also related. I used to do Jeanette´s hair when I worked at Raybrook. We became friends and I always loved her stories. She had such a warm heart. She was a beautiful lady and will be missed. RIP Jeanette.
