Jeanette D. Christian

Jeanette D. Christian, 49, of Waynesboro, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009, at her residence.

She was born June 22, 1959, a daughter of the late Glennwood E. and B. Irene (Tinsley) Johnson.

Surviving are a son, Cody Brandon Christian of the home; two sisters, Patricia Fox and her husband, Jerry, of Stuarts Draft and Sue MacLeod of Waynesboro; two brothers, Larry Johnson and his wife, Holly, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Dwight Tinsley and his wife, Linda, of Churchville; three aunts, Mary E. Elkins of Fishersville, Catherine C. Tinsley of Staunton and Doris Tinsley of Goodview; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved pet, "Bruiser".

Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Greenmonte Fellowship Mennonite Church, Stuarts Draft, conducted by Pastor Bruce Hankee and Pastor Joe Arebaugh. The family will receive friends, at the church, immediately following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society-Ovarian Research, 1920-H Medical Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
