I worked with Jeanette at Kingsboro in the 70’s & we were quite friendly. One Chanukah she & Mike were having his family for a holiday dinner & she wanted to prepare stuffed cabbage, a very traditional (& complex) Jewish dish. She asked if my mother would share her recipe. My mom, an old school cook, never had anything written down. I had to have her make some & shadow her writing everything out. PS...this is the ONLY one of my mom’s recipes I have in writing! Jeanette was a Danbury classmate throughout the years (1964). She touched many hearts with her effervescence, her quick smile, her warmth and her clever conversation.

Even though I haven't seen her since graduation, I'll never forget her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
