She always encouraged me in my music education studies, and she gave me many of her children's song books, which I still have and use. Vince, Clay and family! Your mother was a wonderful woman and I will have fond memories of her! She and I had lovely talks on the phone and at the Cactus when we would attend. One very sweet lady I will always fondly remember as my kindergarten teacher and much later as we sang in the FCC choir together in the alto section! What a lovely, warm person she always was. Loved her alot!

I've lived in the Dallas area for 40 years. While reading an online mag article, a drop down box appeared fo AJ Online? I clicked on aj and intuitively obits and first up was the article onMrs Jenkins. She was my 6th grade teacher at George M Hunt Elem. She responsible for me early educational experiences. Nice Lady.
