Read MoreI worked with Jan for many years at Wisconsin Telephone and we became good friends. After I moved to Colorado we always got together when I was back in Racine for visits. We had many phone conversations during the past few years. When I didn't get a birthday card from her this week, I knew she must have passed. Jan was an awesome person and friend!

Jeanette lived just down the road from us at the end of Maple Grove Street, that was a dead-end street back in the late 40's and 50's before they extended it. We were friends of the Voetberg kids growing up. May she rest in peace.
