Jeanette L. Lewis

LEWIS, Jeanette L. - Of Port Huron, age 72, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, McLaren Port Huron surrounded by loved ones. 

Memorial visitation will be held 11am-2pm Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 Bristol Road, Flint.

Cremation has taken place. 

Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11am.

Jeanette was born on August 23, 1953, she was one of nine children, to the late Clifton G. and Marie (Sylvia Clark) Robinson in Flint. 

She grew up in the Burton area and graduated from Atherton High School.

Jeanette had a deep interest in genealogy, tracing her family back on her father’s side to the 1800’s when they settled in Genesee County, Michigan. She loved gardening, quilting and embroidery she embraced the concept that you can’t have too much fabric or thread, and even though he drove her crazy she spoiled and loved her cat, Sully. 

She is survived by her children Matthew S (Andrea Williams) Robinson, Dereck A (Joy Schmidt) Palecki, and step daughter Christen Drenth (Ryan); her beloved grandchildren Alyssa and Ethan Robinson, Brandon Klaska, Tyler Schmidt and Veronica Purcell, Danielle Woodward, Samantha Woodward, Amanda Andrew (Mike), and great grandchildren, siblings Mary Robinson Sears (Dale), Barbra Robinson Nolley (Dan) and Jon W. Robinson and her lifelong friend Joey Stinson (Scott). 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis, beloved grandchild Austin Palecki and siblings, Richard Robinson, Ronald Robinson, James Robinson, Patrica Duncan and Winona Davis.
