When I retired in 1986 I joined the WMWA.s -the Widowed Men and Women of America a social club. Here I met a lady - Jeanette - what a lady! We became friends- attending club functions, travelling etc. We were a group of 6 ladies who played cards once a week. Time passes and there was Jeanette, Virginia Cotton and myself.
