Not sure what to say?

Jeanette was my student and friend at LSU when she did her master's degree work. She was outspoken, funny, and full of great stories. I treasure the time she had our class to her house, with a beautiful backyard garden. She was a great activist and a real model and a treasure for the younger students in the class, including me. Her family should be very, very proud of her, and I'm proud to have known her.

Emily Toth, Professor of English and Women's Studies, Louisiana State University

To Victor, Lisa and your family,
Our sincerest condolences. We wish we could have been there today, but want you to know you are in our hearts and prayers.
Richard and Becky Wood

To Jeanette's loving children we send you our sincerest condolences on the passing of your Mother. She will be remembered for all the wonderful things she did in her long life, as well as her devotion to her family and her faith. She has now become an even more remarkable angel to guide us along our own paths. May she be met in heaven by my father, Giles Sabin Gianelloni, who predecessed her by four months at the age of 91. He was always fond of Jeanette's accomplishments for her brilliance...
