Not sure what to say?

Dr. Solomon,
My family and I send you our deepest sympathy on the death of your mother. My mother,Dot Lester, volunteered with Jeanette at the D-Day Museum for a number of years and enjoyed getting to know her! We will always remember your mother with much heartfelt gratitude -- mother "evacuated" to Jeanette's condo on St. Charles the day before Katrina struck (the airport had shut down operations shortly before my mother's Sunday afternoon flight was scheduled to depart)and we are very,...

Dear Marion, I will miss your mother in so many ways. She was always kind to me, sharing her knowledge, wit and wisdom and her fun side. I am so glad that we kept in touch after the K & B days. She became a part of our family and we were so happy to have her share in our lives and celebrations . I appreciated her presence among us and we will miss her greatly. We all loved her and will fondly remember her.
With deepest sympathy, Dot Pruett

What can you say when someone as extradordinary as Ms. Jeanette leaves us. I had the honor of knowing Ms. Jeanette though my mother Dot "Mickey" Pruett. Mom worked with Ms. Jeanette at K&B and their friendship remained through many years. She will be greatly missed.

I met Jeanette through Mary Jane Drndak when I lived in Hoboken NJ. She was a very sweet woman and a lot of fun. I felt as if I knew her for a long time when we first met. She had that ability to make you feel comfortable. She will be missed. My sincere sympathy to her family.

Dear Dr. Solomon,

Your mother was one of the coolest people I have ever known even to the end. Jeanette was good friends with my mother-in-law Dorothy Pruett. On Mother's Day, we threw a little party at our house and had both of these great ladies over.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in this sad time.
Just remember, your mom is one special lady!

I met Jeanette in the mid 70's when she was a cosmetic buyer at K&B; I was a sales rep living in New Orleans. At one of my dinner parties, she thoroughly enjoyed my "special" PINA COLADA pie! When I moved to NY & NJ, we got together when she was in town, meeting for meals & attending some broadway shows. Throughout the decades, we remained friends. When I was unemployed, she picked up the check and introduced me to people in our industry. We had a great time one year at "Christmas in the...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
