Aunt Jeanette was an amazing Aunt to me. She was always there for me through thick or thin. So much so, that one year while working at the race track I was bit by a horse, in the boob. Yes, you heard it right! My dad and the gentlemen I worked for wanted me to go to the hospital. At 16, the last thing I wanted was a bunch of nurses and doctors looking a my boob!! My dad said, "well it need to be looked at so lets call your Aunt Jeanette." I said, " oh god that is worse, she knows me!" So we headed to Aunt Jeanette's. When I got there she grabbed my hand and said," lets see the damage." As she walked me to to bathroom I tried to pull away. She gave me that look. I knew I had no choice. She said, " for gods sake get in there, I have a daughter, sister's and nieces your boob is no different." She fixed me up and we all got a few good laughs out of it all.
Bloomsday will never be the same again, but we have a plan for you. ; ) I'll love you forever and always. May you Rest in Peace and pain free.
Love,
Robin (McManus) Bridgewater
