Jeanne Reidhead Allen

I've had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Jeanne my entire life. Much more than a friend, she was family. I spent most of my childhood barging into her house for Popsicles, a hug and a story, or simply to talk. As I grew older, the Popsicles turned into cocktails, the hugs and stories continued on, and our talks evolved into lazy afternoon bar-b-q's and long evenings sharing dinner, playing cards, and always laughing and loving one another. I met Jeanne 14 years ago after I met Greg Gentry. Greg and I would stop by to check on her. She always had a smile and a hug for us. We loved her like family. Now she is with Benson. I'm happy for her.

I knew Jeanne because she was such a good friend of the Westerdahls. She always recognized us and was so friendly when we visited at the moorage. A lovely lady, and a joy to know.
