I was Jeanne's mailman for many years on W. Glen St. She was always very kind to me and I looked forward to seeing her on my rounds. In the summer she would be there with a cold drink or an ice cream bar, and we would sit for a few minutes and chat on the front porch. I recall one very cold day when she greeted me with a steaming bowl of turkey soup. The best soup I ever had, I nearly died and went to heaven, which Is exactly where I know my friend Jeanne is now.
