Not sure what to say?

I grew up next door to the Batchelors, moved away when I was 13, and finally returned for a visit in 2007. I knocked on Jeanne's door and re-introduced myself and spent a lovely half hour catching up with her. She was cheerful, beautiful, and proud of her sons, as she always had been. She was such a regular presence in my childhood, I was happy to have gotten another chance to see her. My condolences to the family.

Jeanne Batchelor was one special lady who made my time at Bala Cynwyd JHS a better one because of her unique way she did not only her work, but the folks like me, enjoy my position as an instrumental music educator. She helped me, and others, I'm sure, look forward to coming to school every day. It was her positive attitude that made all of us feel comfortable in a place where everyone needed to produce. While Frank was teaching at Bala Cynwyd Middle School, Jeanne was always so happy and fun to talk with because of her positive attitude and infectious laugh! What a wonderful lady! Frank and Carol Dieter

Mrs. Batchelor was the first person that we met when we moved to PA and went to register me for BCJr High. I had made my mom promise that I wouldn't have to play in orchestra, but when Mrs. Batchelor heard that I played violin, she just cheerfully signed me up saying, "Oh you'll love our music director Len Murphy!" Boy was she ever right! I owe her such a debt of gratitude. Our family has laughed about that story for many years. She will surely be missed. Our heartfelt condolences.

I do remember Jeanne who worked in the office and was always helpful and was always smiling!

Jeanne was always a smiling presence in the office at Bala Cynwyd Jr. High, an asset to the staff and first greeter to the public. My condolences to your family.

Jeanne was always a gracious and wonderful person to work with at LMHS. My deepest sympathy to her entire family.

Blessings and greetings to your family and especially to Paul, with fond memories of your time at L.M. and of my friendship with your wonderful mother.

I appreciated Jeanne's working in the office at Bala Cynwyd Jr. High School and her being the mother of such good boys, some of whom were in my English classroom. Condolences to the family.
