I am so sorry to Hear of the passing of Mrs. Black. She was my Literature teacher at St. Catherine's of Siena when I was in Grade School. I received an award when an article of mine in the Evangelist, that she encouraged us to write. She was a wonderful lady, and I am glad to have had her as a teacher. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Black

Such a sweet lady. Who I had the privilege of meeting while working. Jeanne and her husband were such a love story and so very proud of their family. They are now reunited in paradise and I know their children will carry on their legacy.

To the Black Family... Diane and I are so sorry for your loss. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Illness will prevent us from attending your mother's funeral services. Have said some prayers for your mother and all of you. May Mrs. Black rest in peace.

My four now adult children were blessed to have Mrs. Black as their kindergarten teacher at St. Catherine of Siena School. She not only was an excellent teacher but she was compassionate, loving and kind. She was a woman of strong faith and character as well. She instilled those same qualities in her students and gave them the tools to advance in school and in life. Our family will be forever grateful for having Jeanne Black in our lives. May she rest in peace with her beloved husband, John.

I graduated from Saint Catherine's in 1979 and Mrs. Black worked with us on creative writing when we were in 7th grade. To this day, I carry the experience with me as she told me that I was a very good writer and that I should keep working on it. I had the pleasure to see her again when my nephews later went to SCS and I told her that story and thanked her for making such an impression on me and to be confidant in my writing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to the Black family for the loss of their mom Jeanne. I loved Jeanne and your dad John, what a wonderful couple they were and so happy and so good to their five boys . very sorry for jeanne's passing , she was a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother.
