Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. She was a delightful and wonderful spirit who keep me updated on the art/dance happenings of the world. My dog Kirby and I visit St. Joe's from time to time through the Therapy Dogs program. We haven't been able to go in several weeks, so I just learned of this today. She was always our first stop. I am glad that we got to know her, even for a brief period of time. She was a joy. Blessings and comfort.

Jeanne was a dear friend, mentor, and very special person in my life. Condolences to all Jeanne's special family members and close friends. We share in your grief and hope that the many fond memories bring comfort.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. As my Step Mother she was very influential and a great friend. We had a song that she waited to sing with me until I arrived from Portland Oregon where I am living right now. We sang it and she went peacefully some days later, I can still hear her voice, always will. Tell me why the stars do shine, tell me why, the ivy twines, tell me why the the sky's so blue, and I will tell you just why I love you, ...always Jeanne. Love Andra (Lisa)

I’ll remember Aunt Jeanne for her ‘gift of gab,’ her timeless sense of style, the thoughtful (and always original) gifts she gave, and the grand presence she held in any room. She was an accomplished choreographer and a masterful seamstress; yet, found time to make me Halloween costumes throughout my childhood. Even as she aged, she stayed quick as a whip and her ‘Parsons’ eyes’ were always sparkling. She was an amazing dancer in life, but I bet she’s magical now.

Jeanne was a very kind and thoughtful friend to my family. We will miss her.

Our Aunt Jeanne was a great dancer,
the gift of music always filling her heart.
Her ability and passion to express it,
was truly something that set her apart.
Her strength came from having a mother,
who taught her nothing was impossible to achieve.
And no obstacle was to hard to conquer,
if you had joy and always believed.
So many have learned from her guidance,
enjoying performances through out her life.
She felt so blest for having her...

I was saddened to hear of Jeanne's death. She was one of my favorite professor's at EMU and instilled in me an appreciation of dance.

Our family was so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Our whole family was able to attend the Celebration of dance several years ago. Our kids had the opportunity to get to know Jean and David many years ago and have fond memories. I was so glad I got to see her in the hospital and have a great conversation this past Monday. Jean was a calm and positive as ever. She was ready to meet her God and dance again. Her great talent, positive and caring spirit will be missed. Please let us know of any...
