Jeanne Y. Chambers

I met Jeanne in the fall of 1978 when I was a Salvation Army Officer and was stationed in Laramie, Wyoming. I was overwhelmed with the responsibilities of being a wife, and mother (my daughter was less than a year old), all the while assisting my husband in leading the local Salvation Army Church, Social Service programs, and a Thrift Store. I remember Jeanne contacting us to see if there was some way she could help us, and boy did I jump at the opportunity to have her as a volunteer! ...
