Not sure what to say?

I had Miss Hunciker for American History at HPHS. It was one of my favorite classes in no small part due to her teaching. Glad I had the experience. My condolences to her family.

The lady was just that; a lady, a real lady, a good person, a good leader, a wonderful chairperson to all who worked with her and for her. It was my pleasure to know her. She was a top notch human being. She was very helpful to me in my career as a Social Studies teacher in the Hartford Public School system.
May God rest her soul and comfort all that mourn her.

Miss Hunciker was my ancient history teacher at HPHS....1957 thru 1959 SHE WAS MY FAVORITE TEACHER...instilled my love of history for 3 yrs....always greeted us with a smile and made history fun.....I would think of her often.....

I was so sorry to hear about Miss Hunciker's passing away. She was one of my very favorite teachers at HPHS...I had her for ancient history my freshman year and loved that class because of her. We've lost one of the best. Marjorie (Midge) Kamins Becker class of 1963.....last class to graduate from the old HPHS!

Miss Hunciker was my wonderful civics teacher at H.P.H.S. in 1954. I learned a lot from her, a very professional and kind educator.

Miss Hunciker was my freshman Ancient History teacher. Her passion for the subject was contagious. She was a tremendous influence on her students and we were fortunate to have her as a role model. She will be missed!!!
