Jeanne T. (Ferry) Poole

Waretown - Jeanne T. (Ferry) Poole formerly of Waretown, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at The Bridges at Warwick. She was 91.

Mrs. Poole was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and graduated from Hamilton High School. She resided in Waretown from 1974 until 2016. She was retired from ETS in Princeton, New Jersey.Mrs. Poole was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Barnegat, NJ. She enjoyed dancing, but mostly she loved children and spending time with her family.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Edison Poole III, she was the loving mother of Judy Meister (Jules) of Fort Myers, FL and Thomas Poole (Beverly) of Hilton Head, SC. She was the devoted grandmother of Kristopher (Kelly), Jonathan and Jessica Meister, Mandy Thigpen (Josh) and Kimberly Dewosky (Brandon) and great grandmother of Ava, Jordan, Mia, Owen and Lyla. She will also be missed by her sister, Rose Butchko and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret, Barbara, May and Kay.

Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ will follow at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "The Bridges at Warwick Memory Care Walk", 1600 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA. 18929 (all proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Association).
