Not sure what to say?

To Jeanne's family. I'm so sorry to have run across her obit while working on the family tree. I was so thrilled to have received wonderful family information and photos from her a few years ago. I so hoped to have met her in person some day. I loved reading all the comments from other friends and family. My heart is heavy. [email protected]

Dear Del,

I always wondered how you were after you went to Portland and were with the PFD. My uncle, Fred Roberts was the city Fire Marshall for years and his two stepsons were in the Dept also. Durkoops, Russell and Larry.

You were our attendants at our wedding
in May of 1952. At that time we never thought we would live to see our 50th and /or the year 2000. My Don left this world Oct. 2009. After we were out of the sheep ranching and sold the ranch we went back to OSU and...

Mrs Rogers was my gradae school teacher and one of the Teachers who has left life long lessons with me. At our 50th High School class reunion she validated something I had felt for over 50 years. She hugged me, told me she had tried to do something about it when I was being what you would now refer to as bullied, and my Grandfatehr kept her from doiing anything as he felt it would make me stronger. She reinforced what I had thought I knew and gave me strength I never knew I had on that day....

I cannot believe that I didn't sign my name to the above message. I'll assume when you see Rich's name you will know who it came from.

Thinking of all of you at this time. I really liked Aunt Jeanne. She was a sweet lady. Love, Carol

I have so many memories of the last 60 years knowing Jeanne. We shared having young children together, beach trips and many family celebrations. Several times we shared more than one gin and tonic with each other and always had fun. Her death leaves a big hole in our family and both Rich and I will miss her. Our love to Deb and Marc and all the rest of our family, who's life she touched so very much.
