Leslie and family
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. I didn't know her, but knowing you, she was a wonderful person. It has been told to me time does heal. Your family and friends are the best support.

"Big C" was such a wonderful person!! We have so many fond memories of her - and being with you all - at SPA, your home in St. Paul and on Sanibel. We are thinking about you during this difficult time and hope you find peace.

Carol and Bert Sandberg are reunited in God's glory! Carol was most instrumental in teaching me the art in playing golf (as Bert was the science of golf guy!) -- the feel and sheer joy of finding the sweet spot of a club and repeating it; embracing the short game and the beauty of God's creation; generosity and love for her Town and Country Club. Her tender and witty ways in all she did are memories for a lifetime. Comfort to Nels, Leslie, and Susan, and entire extended family. What a...

Dear Nels, Susie, and Leslie: Molly just called me. We will all be praying for you as you grieve for your mom. She was such a special lady, and was always so kind to Jim and me. May the Father give you great comfort.

With fond remembrance of a wonderful woman.

Good times at Boca Chica

Dear Susie, Leslie & Nels,
My heart aches - what a great loss! I have so many fond memories of "Big C" - where shall I begin? Boating, Afton, T&C, Sanibel, Sylvandale, New Year celebrations - around the world, her infamous freezer and so much more... Most of all I will miss her wit, intelligence, strength and grace. She is a wonderful role model. Sending my love to all of you, Little Rita Ann

To Nels, Leslie, Suzy and all who knew and loved Carol: my prayers are with you and I share with you the pleasure of knowing Carol as a wonderful person with a delightful wit, caring personality, and part of the "Cousins" gang. May she rest in peace and again partake of the many sports activities she excelled in and loved. My heart is sad for all of us, and I am with you in spirit this weekend as you remember her at her funereal service.

Nels, Leslie and Suzy:

I have to say you nailed it in the obit - you captured her essence. Your mom will always hold a special place in my heart. For me there was always an extra "Bott" (cousin) connection too. She is simply Irreplaceable!

Love, Molly

I will miss Carol's visits to Mancini's Char House, she was truly a kindhearted woman.
