Not sure what to say?

My wife Joanne and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Jeanne's sudden passing. Jeanne and Will were our neighbors in Harvard for years and became our close and valued friends. We will miss Jeanne greatly, but she will always remain in our heart and memory.

I can't believe that this has happened. Will, I ache for you and your family. Jeanne was not only a true mentor to me but also a great role model and friend. I feel like I've known you both forever. With oh-so-much-sadness....Sue

To Will and other family and friends,

Jeanne will be greatly missed by all who knew her. I have fond memories of playing in SPM with her, working with her in the SPM office, and playing in the Concord Ensemble with her along with various show orchestras.

I admired her horn virtuosity, valued her friendship, and appreciated her knowledge and support of SPM. Her passing is a loss to us all.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

When I first joined SPM, I was thrilled not only by the talent and playing skill of the players, but the warmth of the people as well. Jeanne epitomized all of this and more. I will miss her very much-and my prayers and thoughts are with you, Will, and your family. I hope that you will find comfort in the arms of your friends and your memories.

I too, want to send my sympathy to Willis, and all of Jeanne's family. I was also very shocked, and saddened to hear this news...particularly because we (Jeanne, and the other pit orchestra members) were about to wrap up the final shows of "Kiss Me, Kate" at the Weston Drama Workshop. It has been my great fortune to have met and performed with Jeanne in the Concord Ensemble, and in various other groups. What a wonderful person! My best wishes to the family...

I want to send my deepest sympathies to Willis and all of Jeannne's family and friends. We are all grieving in our own ways over the loss of a dear friend and loved one. During Jeanne's many years as a musical and organizational leader with Sympony Pro Musica the entire organization benefited immensely by her presence and came to love her. Jeanne’s personal and musical values were at one with SPM’s mission, and she was responsible for countless organizational advances. She will always have a...

The news of Jeanne's death has shocked and saddened me. It is difficult to come to terms with this, as I always think of Jeanne when I think back on the most wonderful musical moments of my life.

As prior presidents of Symphony Pro Musica, Jeanne and I loved to gab about the business of the organization as much as the music.

To Willis, I can only share my shock and grief with you and reaffirm what you already know... that Jeanne was loved by those who knew her,...

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jeanne's passing.

I was fortunate enough to sit in front of Jeanne for many years in an orchestra. It was unfortunate for her that I sat in front of her, (I'm over 6 feet tall), because I was always in her way.

I always respected her good spirits, dedication and talent. She demonstrated discipline balanced with genuine enjoyment.

I'll miss seeing her around town, working in Town Hall, and hearing her horn playing....

Jeanne was for many years part of the backbone of Symphony Pro Musica. As well as her great musical ability she was brilliant as President of SPM, especially doing an outstanding job of getting financial support. She was always supportive of me, the bassoonist that tended to block her view of the conductor. A good friend. She'll be greatly missed.
