Over the last three years, since I first met Mrs. Von Hoffen, my respect for her has grown to a point where I hold her in highest regard for her integrity and for her tenacity in the face of an increasingly difficult health situation. I am shocked and truly sorry to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathies go to her family and friends.
