Not sure what to say?

I met Jeanne when I joined the Lake Grove Garden Club. I loved chatting with her--her eyes always sparkling with joy to be among gardening friends. Such a kind, lovely woman. She is dearly missed.

Jeanne brought me to my first Garden Club meeting in 1999. I was so thrilled to be part of this wonderful group. She was a very special lady and friend.

Mrs. Wing was my 1st grade teacher at Wilson Park during the 1964-5 school year. She made learning fun, and she gave me and the other students in her class a great start on our educations. I will always remember her fondly.

I believe her students meant a lot to Mrs. Wing. For example, one day more than 30 years later, I got out of my car by my parents' home, and I saw an elderly woman exit her vehicle across the street. Our eyes met; she looked familiar to me. Later, my mother said she...

I love the obituary as it feels so much like the Auntie Jeanne
I knew and loved.

Jeanne and Ray were my wonderful neighbors for 25 years so I admired their garden and we shared the challenges of coexisting with the deer. She was a lovely, sweet woman with a sense of humor and she always asked about my daughters as they were growing up and on to college and careers. She has an incredible caring family and I truly miss her!

Jeanne Wing was my Master Teacher in 1972 at Wilson Park Elementary. What a fantastic student teaching assignment I had. I retired 3 years ago after teaching 35 years. During all my years working with children in K-6th grades I have never forgotten her teaching style filled with kindness, love, and patience.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Mrs. Wing taught my son (who is now 50), in first grade at what was then, Wilson Park grade school. She was a caring and beloved teacher. Later I had the privilege of working with her, as school secretary at Mary Rieke. Jeanne was such a delightful lady, and A joy to be around. My sincere condolences to your family.

I wanted to say that the Lake Grove Garden Club will be dedicating a Gardening book at the Lake Oswego Public Library in honor of Jeanne. If there is an address you would like to give me so you can be notified when that happens. it usually takes about a month to complete. Also, we are sending a card to the only address we have ......her home in Lake Oswego. Thank you. Ginny Watts

Jeanne was a member of our Lake Grove Garden Club for many years. She was loved by all, and was quite knowledgable. She was always am important part of our group, and we were saddened when it was apparent that she would not be able to continue with us. We kept her as an Honorary Member always even though she could not attend. What a delightful, sincere, and all around lovely person. I was happy to be able to call her a friend. We had many conversations over the years during those...
