Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. - Hellertown Obituary

Jeannette (Page) Grave, 82, of Bridgeton Township, Bucks County, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Doylestown Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Peter W. Grave, who passed away on November 2, 2022.


Born in Philadelphia on September 7, 1942, Jeannette’s parents’ names are unknown. She devoted her career to education as a teacher for the hearing impaired and also served her community as a Supervisor of Tinicum Township.


Her passions included working with Packard automobiles and training German Shepherds.  Jan enjoyed dog training of all kinds basic obedience to traning service,  rescue and police dogs. Jan was very  involved with Char-Wills German Shepherd Rescue In New Ringold PA. Jan and Pete where very  involved  in the antique radio and car hobby. Jan along with Pete where founding members of the Delaware Valley Historic Radio Club Jan Served as the DVHRCs first Secretary, Jan and Pete where also long time members of the New Jersey Antique Radio Club. Jan and Pete where also founding members of the professional car society, Jan and Pete where also active members of the Packard Club of America.  


She is survived by her grandson, John R. Ingersoll and his fiancé Tabatha Hook; great granddaughter: Lily Ingersoll; her godson, James Whiteley; very close friend of the family: Lance Fisher; friends  of Jan, John Tyminski also Gabe Luberto,  Alease Luberto & there son Anthony Luberto in under close friends. . She was predeceased by additional family members.

Jeanette’s final request was to be taken from place of her death to the funeral home in a Packard Hearse.  This was accomplished in the middle of the night with family escorting Jeannette in a Packard hearse provided by the Heintzelman Family.
