I’m not sure where to begin since there are so many memories growing up at your house with my sisters, Grandaddy, and Nicolette. However, what I remember most is your love and patience for Grandaddy. I know you being there meant the world to my mom and her brothers and we can’t thank you enough the sacrifices you made in order to put him first.

So many memories. It’s hard to know where to begin. You loved birthdays and celebrations but you especially loved Christmas. You even had a musical Christmas tree! Shopping was one of your favorite hobbies so all the gifts you chose were so thoughtful and beautiful. Your love of cats and hummingbirds created some chaotic moments in the backyard for sure. Our stepmother, Jeanne, brought many years of humor and laughter to our family gatherings over the years, and gave so much wonderful and loving care to our father for the years he was sick and frail. We will be forever grateful.

You are at peace and out of pain now Jeanne. We will miss you, and will fondly remember our time together.
Whether it was one of so many Sunday afternoons sitting together on the edges of our seats watching our beloved Chargers play (and usually lose), or cruising the high seas to Mexico which we all enjoyed so much.
You would often say that you couldn't cook, but your hamburger bean casserole has always been one of our all-time favorites.
