Jeannette D. Latour, 97, of Lakewood, NJ passed away on February 24th, 2025. She was born in Fall River, MA to Albert and Yvonne Bouchard. She lived in Manhattan, then moved to New Jersey. They lived in Fort Lee, then moved to Hudson County and spent many years in Jersey City. Jeannette worked as a seamstress at many different places over the years. She was a part of the choir and a parishioner of the Church of the Visitation for over 20 years. Jeannette was a renowned ballroom dancer and was a two-time president and member of the Leisure Village East Choristers. She loved playing bocci and shuffleboard. She loved Jesus and attending church was the highlight of her week. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Jeannette was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Omer Latour in 2002.  She is survived by her children, Alice Latour, Babette Laskowski and her husband, Walter and Robert Latour and his wife, Susan. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home- 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 28th, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Visitation - 730 Lynnwood Ave, Brick Township, NJ 08723.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery- 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
