Was so sorry to hear about Jay passing away....her cousin Betty Beard was so sadden that she was not able to see Jay...did not even know she was sick....prayers for the family

Jay and I taught together both at East Jackson and Vandercook. I often subbed for her at McDevitt. Both of us lost our babies the same night and both of us adopted our much loved boys and the same time. I have greatly missed my time with her

Jay was my fourth grade teacher at McDevitt. She made each of her students feel wanted and loved. Years later, I was fortunate to become a colleague and again saw how Jay shared her gentle heart with students and staff. What wonderful memories we at Vandercook have of this kind, caring teacher.

Mrs. Sobota was an amazing teacher my daughter had her in first grade and she worked wonders with her .her students always came first we lost a great teacher in Michigan. The Davis family

Mrs. Sobota, we will miss you. We always enjoyed having you come into the office with Sammie and having conversations with you. My Grandmother was also born in Hart, MI. I wish I had known you were too.

You were a amazing teacher. You had our son in school and taught him so many things and he make the prettiest wreath for us at Christmas. I had the chance to work at Mc Devitt school when you were there a very nice lady

Miss Sobota was a teacher to my husband David and she also taught His daughter Malayna, she was a very sweet lady we have come to know her and loved her

Mrs. Sonora you a wonderful teacher and person. So caring towards my family. You helped my brother Sid in school , he still says you were his favorite teacher. You helped my dad Trini. You never were my teacher but I really wished you were. You helped me a lot also. You are going to be missed my many. Say Hi to my mom for me. R.I.H. Mrs. Sobota
