Not sure what to say?

Dr. Williams was my principal at Barlow Elementary school from 1987-1995. Tears came steaming when I learned of her passing because I was sad that today's youth won't get to experience the person who she was. I have never met someone who was as genuine and loving as Dr.Williams, she gave all students a sense of pride and self worth. We even had to know Lift Every Voice and Sing (all three verses) in order to graduate from 5th Grade. Our graduation ceremony included excerpts from King's "I...

You have my deepest sympathy in the lost of your beloved Jeannette. I had the privilege to know Dr. Williams as a friend, as a mentor, a team player, and a confidant. Her life can only be scripted as extraordinary.
With Deepest Sympathy

Dr. Williams will be surely missed, She was my principal at Plainfield High School, She was an outstanding leader, Dr. Williams was the type that respected the students and they respected her. God bless her and her family.

I extend my condolescences to the family. Dr. Williams first hired me in 1994 as a classroom teacher at Barlow. She has continued to mentor, guide and support even to these days as a principal. Dr. Williams is never gone because she lives within me..

You were always so good to me and my family. I will always remember the good times at Barlow and how much you loved the childredn. We always had so much fun St. Patrick's Day when yoy brought the green bagles. I will miss you.

You will be missed by the Barlow Elementary School family. The Dr. Jeanette A. Williams Media Center will serve as a constant reminder of the love and support shown to the Barlow community. We thank you for your many acts of kindness to teachers, students and me. (Principal Barlow Elementary)

You were a woman with great leadership skills and integrity to lead as a principal. I shall always remember how you gave me the first opportunity to be hired as a teacher in the Plainfield School District. You were encouraging and you discussed ways in which I could improve. I now am retired after 31 years of teaching in Plainfield. Thanks to you for a good beginning which allowed me to achieve this end. Thanks to the "Almighty God" for allowing this moment to happen in my life in 1981.
