Not sure what to say?

Jeannie was my writing buddy and good friend. We shared the bond of growing up in a small town east of the mountains. I miss her critiques and soaring spirit.

What a lovely tribute to Jeannie. I am so grateful to her for hiring me at PGE many years ago. She called while I was on vacation and waited for me to return to have the interview. I did run into her a few years ago and had the chance to thank her again. My sympathy to her family.

Just read this and I think that my Mom, Melita Mieth, was good friends with her parents in LaGrande. Sounds like she was a great person!

Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. She must have been a lovely woman!

Roger, I just learned of Jeanie´s passing and wanted to offer my deepest condolences to you. Having read her obituary, I feel that I know her and her passions, although I never met her in person. What a remarkable woman! May you find peace and solace in your countless memories. David and Sally Shonkwiler

Her love, acceptance, and support of me helped me to go on in that really challenging time and ultimately was key to my...

Jeannie's friendship was one of the greatest blessings of my life. She was a gifted writer who was passionate about life and people, and was probably the most positive person I've ever known. I miss Jeannie every day, but feel lucky to have known such a one-in-a-million person.

My life is forever blessed by my friendship with Jeannie.

I came to know Jeannie through the special bond she had with my Mom. Jeannie is an expansive, loving, and energetic spirit. I often still hear her saying "It´s going to be OK, kiddo." I appreciate her life and energetic presence.
