Jeannie S. Douglas-Roberts

Jeannie was the person who inspired me to go to college. She and Linda S. were going to Ames, IA for a weekend visit/tour. They invited me along. I knew nothing about applying to college or about college life. Jeannie was mature and made me feel I could do it!! Jeannie had a warm heart and was extremely talented, yet she was sweet and humble. My thoughts are with you. Such a loss. I'm sorry.

I have very fond memories of Jeannie...many good times with her playing bridge, in the Ozarks and visiting in Florida. Am very, very sad to hear about this. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. Will always remember her smile and her generosity. Condolences to all.

When I think of Jeannie I think of 1 Corinthians, Chapter 13. Although this is usually read at weddings, I think it is an excellent description of Jeannie..."Love is patient, love is kind. Jeannie was a kind and intelligent lady with whom I had the pleasure of working back in the 90's. I am sad to hear of her passing.
