You took on a style of life that only "Sims" could. Your infectious smile will remain in the memories of all of us.

Jeannie was beautiful, elegant, delightfully risqué, and a true bright light and "character " during my time living in Savannah during the 1980´s. I am so sad to learn of her passing. Rest in peace lovely lady. Deborah Stevens

There are no words to express the sadness That I feel in the loss of our friend, Jeannie. She was a bright light in this world- and the epitome of great style and flair. After being roommates at UGA many years ago, we had only been back in each others´ lives in the past decade... and will always be grateful that we were reunited. I met Jeannie on our first visit to Savannah. We stopped her on the street to ask for directions. She was so stylish, with a bright fuchsia blazer, big black glasses and bright red lipstick. Smart, friendly, engaging. When I told her I was a photographer for Architectural Digest she showed us her beautiful historic house on Taylor Street which of course ended up being featured in Architectural Digest. We met so many interesting people over the years there in Savannah and it all started...

The world has lost a one-of-kind personality. The life of the party with a fine sense of art and design. She will be missed.
