Not sure what to say?

Jed was one of the first people I met when I moved to Charleston in 2008. He had bees and was looking for a beekeeper. I was a beekeeper looking for bees. Together we tended the bees and became good friends. In 2014, I moved back to Charleston after a two-year stint in Arizona. I needed a place to stay and Jed opened his house to me. I ended up living in his house for two and a half years. During that time he introduced me to a wonderful man named Mike. Jed and his love, Ann, were there when...

I am so sorry to learn of Jed's passing. I worked with Jed at the College of Charleston as he led the refurbishment of 176 Lockwood. He was an excellent project manager who cared deeply about creating the perfect space for us at the Riley Center. He did it for us and many others, I am sure.

Heartfelt condolences to his wife, his son and all of the friends and family of this remarkable man.

We are so saddened to hear of Jed's death. He was such a joy to be around.

Always enjoyed our afternoon chats back in the old Sand Dollar days (the late 80's). You were always a very kind and gentle man. Hope you're hiking the Western North Carolina Mountains right now. Best thoughts to your family at this time.

Donna and I were glad to call you and Ann our friends. You will be greatly missed my friend. Our condolences go out to all family and friends.

Our most sincere sympathies for Jed`s family! He was "The Best Neighbor" to us in Riverfront, and an important person in The Folly Beach Family. We have the fondest of memories for Jed and all his good works throughout the community.
May God embrace your sorrow with His Loving Embrace and deliver you through this difficult time with Love, Peace, and Understanding.
God Bless, with heartfelt love and hugs,

Paul and Lisa Jacobs

We are forever grateful for Jed's service to our country in the U.S. Submarine Service. To our Brother we say, Sailor, rest your oar. We have the watch.
