It was a joy and blessing to have known him for the gentle soul that he was, with the sweetest laugh ever heard. Even though we didnt get to know Jed very well, reading the messages here tell the story that he touched many hearts in his short life. I will never forget him as a small child when we lived near by, and what wonderful parents and family he had to encourage and help him achieve all he could be.

I want you both to know how very much Jed was loved by his friends at Buhler High School. I have worked with special needs kids for most of my adult life but very few touched me the way Jed did. His eyes were as bright as the sun. His laugh contagious. I will never know all of the challenges Jed faced in his 22 years, but I do know that he did not let them get him down. The last time I saw him when he was in the ICU in Hutch he still laughed for me. I know he did not...
