Not sure what to say?

Dear Tracy and Family,
I was so sorry to read about your husband and know that you miss him terribly. I know how hard the last years have been. Please call me if you want to talk. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

When hearing the news about Jeff, flashes of Kaiser Elementary, Kick-Ball, Deep Fork Creek, and our neighborhood suddenly flashed through my mind's-eye. There is nothing as dear as a childhood friend, nothing so precious as a first boyfriend, and nothing so moving as Jeff's adult life. It seems like only yesterday we were at our High School reunion, laughing about all of the changes in our lives. His smile was one of love and pride when talking of his family, his bride, his children. His joy...

Tracy and Family,

We were saddened to hear the news of Jeff's passing, but also rejoice with you in his life and what kind of person he was. We have such wonderful memories of Jeff and the laughter we all shared. Megan commented how she always appreciated Jeff's giving to the youth of the church, and it was easy to see that he loved serving God by doing it. With all of the challenges that Jeff was confronted with, he always had such a tremendous faith and positive outlook. Your...

I met Jeff when we lived on the 9th floor of Wilham South Dorm at OSU and he was rooming with Steve Davis. I remember Jeff as a very positive and funny guy. He was always smiling. I was sitting at the table full of his friends in the dorm cafeteria when he broke the news about his cancer and having to leave school. His attitude that day and his vow not to let this terrible news beat him have always been etched in my memory. I thought then and since that time, "would I be able to handle that...

Jeff was always a dear friend of mine. I don't think he realized what great team-mate he was during our NWC Knight days of the 70's. I'm thinking God "drafted" Jeff to join his basketball team in heaven (better have hoops up there!) this week. Truly....Keith Hammack

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Tracy
My familys love and prayers go out to you and your family. I went to school with Jeff and played many a sport with him growing-up. Jeff was always a good sport and good friend to my sisters, and little brother. (Kelly, Shelly and Kip) Our hearts are heavy with prayer. Chris Morrison (NWC"74")

Tracy,

We were saddened to hear the news. Our hearts go out to you. Jeff was a very good person. We always enjoyed the driveway talks. I always enjoyed his honesty and frankness - it was refreshing to get Jeff's perspective on life. We celebrate with you that Jeff is not hurting anymore. We pray for comfort and peace for you, Melinda and Jeffrey. God Bless.
