Jeff Connor

Jeff was a great neighbor on Bryden Road. His family had 8 kids and ours had 5. Plus there were loads of other kids on our block. Many happy memories of everybody playing outside and coming home when the street lights turned on. Thanks, Jeff, for all the fun times we had!

I was in industrial sales with Jeff for almost 30 years. He was a great mentor, always there when needed and helped me when I went into outside sales at the age of 21. We called on the same customers from time to time and Jeff was known for exceptional customer service. We had great times at the Ross-Willoughby breakfasts over the last several years. Being a “younger” Connor I did not know Jeff very well. Think the last time I saw Jeff was at my Dad’s or my Mom’s funeral. Wish we had been able to spend more time talking about the many Connor Family stories we might know. Rest in Peace Jeff. Sending my and my wife Heidi’s love to all the Connor Family.

Already an experienced industrial supply salesman when I joined the Ross Willoughby Company more than 30 years ago, it was still like going from the Clippers to the Yankees. Jeff was the seasoned veteran who took me under his wing, showed me how things worked, never worried if I sold more than him and helped me when I sold less. I thought he was kidding when he offered to sing at my wedding . The voice of an Irish angel, and I'm sure he's still the loudest in the heavenly choir.

Jeff was family to us, as I'm sure he was to so many. My kids and nieces and nephews still use his one liners. My Mom adored him, he was a pall bearer for her when she passed. My Dad loved having him come to North Carolina to play golf .
My family in Kansas, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Florida, along with all of us in Ohio will grieve and miss him. Our love and prayers are with his family. We will drink coffee, and tell our favorite Jeff stories often, as his special spirit will be with...
