Not sure what to say?

Missed & not forgotten.

Good to be reminded again of Jeff's legacy. He gave me a wonderful opportunity as sports editor of the News, and I highly value getting to know him. Jeff gave me a new perspective on life in Louisiana.

I really liked Jeff. He was tough, but fair and I really enjoyed working for him at Livingston Parish News via The Antiques Gazette. I can only imagine the commentary hed have on state and federal politics lol. Sadly missed. I sent up prayers.

I've known Jeff since undergraduate school and I've got some great memories and stories about him. However, whatever happened in undergraduate school stays in undergraduate school. Let's just say I am very proud of him and I enjoyed his friendship. Bob Downing, Judge, retired

Jeff was truly a wonderful person to work for and with. He was a good businessman who was fair and dedicated. I had the pleasure of working for him as the Account Manager for The Antiques Gazette some years ago and again, through Ron Barden Jr, in circulation.News of his death actually brought a tear to my eye. He brought a lot to his community and will be missed. I send my sympathies to his family and his newspaper family at Livingston Parish News. You all are in my prayers.

Louisiana weeps. But grief is the price we pay for love. Jeff was born an original, and unlike most, he died an original. God bless you, Jeff. You have blessed us with your life. John Kennedy

Please accept my sincerest condolences. May God and your fond memories give you peace and strength during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Jeff's death. I have so many good memories of our association together.

A great and generous man which I had the privilege of working with for 20-plus years. His wit and brilliance will be missed. Godspeed Jeff.
