Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed listening to Jeff on KINK-FM. When I started work at KGW-TV and first heard that distinctive voice from across the room I realized "that's him." Jeff was much more than a thoughtful and wise colleague. For 30+ years he did things - creating programs and reporting stories that truly helped Oregon and its people. Jeff will be remembered as one of the giants of Oregon broadcasting in the last couple of generations... and by those who knew him and were lucky enough to work with...

My brother and I used to visit Jeff when KINK first srarted broadcasting. Jeff was a kind man who loved being with and talking to people. My memory is that he said he came from Boston, but maybe I'm wrong. So sad to lose such a wonderful man and reporter.

The most influential and delightful local media in my life were KINK during Jeff's tenure and Oregon Field Guide. Thanks man.

I remember Jeff as the voice on KINK in 1968, and was a faithful KINK listener until we moved to Eugene in 1979. I was doubly delighted when he showed up on OPB, which is almost the only TV programming I watch. May he rest in peace. He was a true professional.

So grateful for quality people like Malcolm who have graced us with their unique talents and spirit. He will be dearly missed. What a legacy he has left for us all.

Thank you Jeff for introducing me to Gordon Lightfoot - just so jealous that you got to meet him and adventure with him. I remember you doing the folk music show on KINK doc Watson, Townes van zant and so many others. Your love of that music was so evident. Caught some of Oregon outdoor program on opb thanks again Jeff for the love of music and Oregon

I always looked forwordon vacatioN trips to Portland from SAN Jose Ca. First heard KINK with Jeff in August 73.Bringing a mellower sound and acccustic music . THE likes I'd never heard before. Pentangle Fairport Convention to name a few. Jeff had avery distingtive voice. His work is always remembered by me. RIP Jeff.

Jeff Douglas was awesome on Kink FM. Sorry to hear of his passing. I met him before at the station.

I've enjoyed all of the programming Jeff developed, but especially Oregon Art Beat. My family sat down together to watch it every Thursday evening, and it provided a significant introduction to and education for my two children to the wonderful world of art. I continue to watch alone, now that my children are grown, and I enjoy it still. I'm very thankful for the work Jeff did, and sorry to hear of his passing - too young! My condolences to his family.
