Not sure what to say?

I just heard the unfortunate news. Although Jeff was not a close friend of mine at Macromedia, having worked in different depts, he was always a good friend. Jeff was cheerful and had a friendly hello whenever I saw him. I also enjoyed his talent as a musician and made it a point to see Kotoja several times. I appreciated knowing him and am better for it. My deepest condolences to his family. You are missed, Jeff.

I just heard of Jeff's death today and I was truly shocked and saddened. Jeff was a ray of sunshine. He always had something good to say. When Jeff spoke to me, he was always interested in my life. No matter how many years had elapsed since I last spoke with him he'd talk to me with great enthusiasm as if we had just had dinner together yesterday. He was one of the good ones and I regret I didn't get to know him better. What a great loss.

For sound and music work, Jeff was unmatched. Not only fun to work with, but great work and great guy. I always recommended him first on any project I was involved in. He is, and will be missed.

I'm so sad to learn of this news. Jeff was a true bright light in this world. I will forever remember his quick smile, infectious laugh, and gentle personality.

Just so sad to hear this. Jeff was such a positive, enthusiastic person. So creative, and so much appreciation for the little things in life. He was very talented and memorable. Sad to say its been several years since we last spoke, but I still remember my time working with him as special and unique.

Jeff and I worked together for nearly 20 years on music and multimedia. He was always a bright light spot on my work landscape. I looked forward to chatting with him on the phone but mostly I just wanted to hear his answering machine messages. Hope they are saved somewhere. We will all miss him at Orange Design.

In moments like these when someone slips away so abruptly.. someone so upbeat and rare.. In moments like these you realize just how precious life is, and how important it is that you don't take a single second for granted.
A smiling face, a dear friend - even if only for a very brief time. Gone now from this world to leave us all wondering why. Why do beautiful souls die young? This always puzzles me. I indeed miss the man I barely knew, and I miss what could have been a flourishing...

Jeff's humor and generosity are what I'll remember most about him. It was great having him in Alameda, as I'd bump into him at peet's or the grocery store, and he'd always be up for our little game audio hangouts. His warmth and wisdom will be greatly missed, and I wish his family, and children well (he talked about his kids all the time.)

I first met Jeff twenty-five years ago when he was working with Glenn at Essex Fundraising. Always sweet; always personable; always right on top of not only the details but also the overall project. My deepest sympathy to the family for the early loss of Jeff's vitality and creativity. We are all lessened by this tragedy.
