Not sure what to say?

Jeff's loved ones and family: I've been staring at the screen for several minutes now, trying to come up with something to say that will, not only sound right, but help you in this time. I don't know what else to say except I'm just so sorry.

The entire Richmond Hokie nation mourns the loss of Jeff--a spirited alumnus who was committed to exemplify his alma mater's motto "Ut Prosim" - That I may serve. He loved helping out in any way he could most of all at our annual wine festival. We love you Jean and Katherine. Our prayers are with you both and we are here for you!

Kitty & Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget Jeff and his unique way of making people around him laugh and smile. His "Thriller" rendition at Chris & Jessie's wedding always brings a smile to my face. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are neighbors a few houses down from Jeff and Kitty. Although we didn't know them it has been a neighborhood tragedy of huge proportions. We are so sorry!

Jean and Family,

I am my prayer warriors have been praying for your family in this time of loss. Seek the Lord, he will comfort you, and I hope your good memories will bring cheer in the future.

Tom, Karen, and other loved ones

While I knew Jeff only briefly, I can appreciate what he meant to you as first-time parents. I can't begin to fathom the loss of one's child. Please accept our deepest sympathies, and may God help you to understand losing Jeff at such a young age with so much promise, and may He give you strength and comfort during this most difficult time.

I'll always remember cutting up with Jeff and laughing like crazy when we weren't supposed to during VocalBlur (Richmond-based a cappella group) rehearsals. As the two oldest guys in the group and the only ones married at the time, we shared a unique bond. It was also fun riding with up together to the gig at Tech in the 300ZX with satellite radio.

Jeff had an incredible talent of literally being a one-man band and giving his all to entertain even just the smallest crowds up to...

Tom and Karen,
I cannot even imagine what you and Blake are going through. When I heard of Jeff's passing tears were in my eyes. I feel like I grew up with him through you, Tom. May GOD be with you and your family through this sad time and always. Just ALWAYS take care of each other!

Tom, Karen & Blake,

We were so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy and know you are in our hearts and prayers during this time. And let us know if there is anything at all we can do for you (790-1288).

May God be with you and all of Jeff's loved ones and friends.
